New conference reveals strategies to future-proof food production

Utrecht, the Netherlands — 20 January 2022 — Feed Strategy magazine has announced the launch of the 2022 European LIVE Feed Congress, co-located at VIV Europe on 30 May 2022. VIV Europe is scheduled for 31 May-2 June at Jaarbeurs Exhibition Centre in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

The road is heading towards the leading feed to food event in 2022, May 31 – June 2.
VIV Europe will be the first animal husbandry event to take place LIVE in Europe after the pandemic compromised trade activities. The industry is thrilled to meet face-to-face and finally resume global business in Europe. Organized every four years at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht venue, this is the premium gathering of the animal protein sector for the production & processing of poultry, eggs, meat, fish and dairy. Utrecht, the city hosting the event, is just 30 minutes from Amsterdam.

The impact of feed physical quality on the performance of the modern commercial turkey can have a significant impact on flock performance. Recent work conducted in Aviagen Turkeys’ trial facilities showed that feed form can effect liveweight to 140 days by as much as 12% and FCR by 36%.

Poultry Tech Summit 2022 is seeking completed applications for both innovation and technology presentations, due May 9. Submissions of innovations and technology presentations applicable to any point in the poultry live production, processing or distribution supply chain are encouraged.
