Engineer Mahmoud Al-Anani won the position of President of the General Union of Poultry Producers in the union's elections held on Tuesday. Dr. Tharwat El-Zini and Dr. Anwar Al-Abd were elected as Vice Presidents.
The new council affirmed its commitment to supporting the poultry industry in line with the policies adopted by the Egyptian government, while also working to develop the sector to meet the government's goals and achieve mutual interests between the state, small farmers, and investors.

The council also announced its intention to intensify efforts to raise awareness of the importance of the poultry industry in supporting the national economy and to create a comprehensive database on production and market needs to ensure a balance between supply and demand and provide high-quality products to the Egyptian consumer.
