On May 26, 2025, the 23rd edition of the "SIPSA Agriculture and Africa Food Export" exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of high-level officials, bringing together representatives from the Algerian government and several prominent international figures. The opening ceremony was overseen by the Algerian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade, the Minister of Knowledge Economy and Startups, as well as the Secretary of State in charge of African Affairs.
This important economic and agricultural event saw distinguished international participation, with the presence of ministers and officials from several brotherly and friendly countries. Among them were the Minister of Agriculture from the Republic of Cameroon, a State Secretary and Minister from the Italian Republic—which was the guest of honor for this edition. Also attending the opening were the Minister of Agriculture from Zimbabwe, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture from the Sultanate of Oman, and the Minister of Fisheries from the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The official delegation conducted a comprehensive tour of the various exhibition pavilions, where they reviewed the latest technologies and products on display and engaged in discussions with both local and international exhibitors and investors. During the tour, emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting agricultural innovation and strengthening bilateral and multilateral partnerships, given their direct impact on sustainable development in the agricultural and food industries sectors.
