wbFor the first time in over seventy years, Lebanon experienced a rare and inspiring moment of democratic collaboration, as representatives from the public, private, and academic sectors came together around one table.

The Lebanese Poultry Syndicate, led by Mr. William Boutros, launched the process of Lebanon’s National Poultry Strategy in a national workshop hosted by the American University of Beirut (AUB) and its Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.

This exceptional gathering brought together three key ministries (Agriculture, Industry, and Economy), leading producers, academics, and experts under one roof, united by a shared vision for the future of the poultry sector.

The event marked a turning point: a roadmap built on transparency, inclusiveness, and cross-sectoral collaboration.
It is a true model of national syndicate leadership, demonstrating that real democracy lies in the power to bring diverse voices together around hope, purpose, and mutual respect. https://www.meap.net/news/index.php/ar/pages-ar/lps-nps
