Baladi Poultry Company announced the signing of a contract with Mohammed Abdulrahman Farhat Contracting Company to establish and implement a new poultry slaughterhouse in Wadi Al-Dawasir, at a cost of 98 million riyals.
The company said in a statement on “Tadawul Saudi” on Monday that the production capacity of the new slaughterhouse is estimated at 500,000 birds per day, and it is scheduled to be completed within 10 months.
It explained that the project comes as part of future expansion plans, in line with the company’s general growth strategy.
It added that it is not possible at the present time to determine the financial impact of the project, confirming that any significant developments will be announced in due course.
