Chicken3Between September 22–26, 2025, a special event was held Between September 22–26, 2025, a special event was held in Cyprus through the collaboration of Cargill, Unat and Niyasin where we had the pleasure of hosting our esteemed customers from Iraq.
Throughout the event, several Cargill experts shared their insights on holistic feed additive solutions and their impact on poultry performance. The sessions highlighted the importance of precise nutrition, strategic collaboration, and the power of combining Cargill’s global knowledge with strong regional expertise.


Each speaker brought a unique perspective to the discussions, offering valuable guidance on risk management, productivity enhancement, and sustainable growth. As the exclusive agent in Iraq for Provimi Jordan (Cargill) animal nutrition and health products, Unat (Niacin) continues to play a vital role in bridging international innovation with local market needs.

• Sebnem Koprulu, Commercial Director of Cargill Animal Nutrition Turkey and Middle East: contributed to the introduction of Cargill and the capabilities in the region; also expressed the partnership between Unat and Cargill which has been creating a high value to the customers in the region.
• Nessrin Selim, MHS Sales & Technical Lead for Midle East, guided participants through the comprehensive advantages of Cargill’s holistic feed additive solutions and their impact on poultry performance. Her presentation emphasized how feed additives play a critical role in risk management and contribute significantly to improving production revenue.
• Dirgam Roussan Animal Health and Quality Manager, presented Provimi Jordan and UNAT Iraq Labs nutrition and health packages services. Dr Roussan explained that these labs partners with Iraqi customers to help them nourish their animals and control costs to maximize their bottom line. In addition, with Dr Roussan with Dr Mohammad Alazzeh (Technical Support Manager UNAT) had a deep discussion on the common poultry diseases in Iraq country focusing on the important of diagnostic and sampling services that offering by Jordan and UNAT labs and they explained Provimi poultry health services, solution and products.
• Amjad Mugdadi, Nutritionist Poultry – Middle East, provided an in-depth explanation of the Cargill Nutrition System, emphasizing its science-based, data-driven approach to optimizing animal performance. He highlighted how the system integrates advanced nutritional models, precise feed formulation, and continuous monitoring to deliver consistent results. Amjad also explained the collaborative workflow with the Cargill Nutrition Center, where global expertise, research, and innovation come together to support local teams and partners. This synergy ensures tailored solutions that address specific market needs while maintaining the highest standards of animal nutrition and performance.
• Yusuf Uzun SMT Lead Poultry Turkey and ME, explained process from innovation to application to filed level. Participated in the Cyprus ANH Seminar contributing to discussions on animal nutrition, feed additives, and innovation in poultry production. His involvement included engaging with industry partners, supporting knowledge exchange among regional stakeholders, and strengthening relationships with clients and collaborators across the Middle East.
• Shadi Hatahet, Senior Key Account Manager, explained breifly about Cargill overview world wide and how Cargill provide massive experince overall supply chain starting form rsik management and transportation from the farm gate till we close the cycle to food services and retailer, emphesizing the strength of Cargill in operation excellence and supply chain advantage, highlighting Cargill animal Nutrition and Health long experince, brands in the market which were build based on sience appraoch delivering solutions to our customers, where Cargill have 5 Global Innovation centers covering livestock, poultry and aquaculture, along with 13 technology application centers, 16 labs, and more than 1000 R&D professionals distributed along the globe, connecting this with how we serve middle east, Turkey and Africa markets through three plants located in Turky, South Africa and Jordan, where the Iraqi market is served from Jordan site which have the latest premix production technology technology, fully automoted peice of art production facility able to produce up to 80K MT of premixes,basemix and concentrate, and flixible expantion in prodcution capacity by extra 40% upon market needs.
• Ala’a Al Habees, Iraq Sales Representative, highlighted Cargill’s holistic approach and powerful capabilities in supporting our partners to unlock the full potential of animal performance. He emphasized how Cargill empowers partners to achieve their goals the right way, leveraging its extensive expertise and resources. Additionally, he outlined the shared vision and strategic plans of Cargill, UNAT, and Niyasin to deliver impactful services that bring true and valuable benefits to our partners in the Iraqi market.

• Sheikh Kanaan Abd Alghafoor, Chariman Niyasin said Cargill, UNAT and Niyasin together are supplying the Iraqi market with high quality products & the latest nutritional technology to improve the productivity & profitability of our partners. This partnership brings to Iraqi Market 165 Cargill year experience in Feed and Food sectors.
• Murat Unat, Owner of Unat Company, has supported the organisation with his presence; also contributed to the discussions with his strong leadership which has built trust in the region.
