Subsidiary of Tanmiah Food Signs Contract to Build 100 Broiler Chicken Farms with Chengdu Design and Research Institute

Tanmiah Food Company announced that its subsidiary, Tanmiah Agricultural Company, has signed a contract with the Chengdu Design and Research Institute to construct 100 broiler chicken farms.
In a statement to Saudi Tadawul, the company said the contract covers construction works for infrastructure development, equipment, and farm buildings for broiler chicken production. The project aims to establish state-of-the-art farms across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, equipped with Industry 4.0 technologies, on land owned by Tanmiah Agricultural Company.
The company explained that the project forms part of its future expansions in primary poultry production, in line with Tanmiah Food Company’s overall growth strategy.
It noted that construction will begin in January at a total cost of SAR 165 million. A long-term deferred payment plan has been agreed upon, with the project expected to be completed by December 2026. The company clarified that the financial impact of the contract is linked to its broader expansion strategy.
The expected start date for commercial production is January 2027, with the project’s financial impact anticipated to be reflected in the company’s financial statements beginning in January 2027.
