The 23rd China Animal Husbandry Expo (2026 CAHE), also known as the 2026 China International Animal Husbandry Expo, grandly opened today at the Western China International Expo City in Chengdu. As Asia's largest and the world's second-largest professional livestock exhibition, this year’s expo is themed "Showcasing New Business Models, Sharing New Achievements, Enhancing New Momentum, and Leading New Development." It features a record-breaking exhibition area of over 180,000 square meters with more than 8,300 booths, attracting 1,500 enterprises from 41 countries and regions worldwide.
On the first day alone, the expo welcomed 123,000 visitors. The venue was bustling with activity as industry veterans and newcomers gathered in Chengdu to seek technologies, negotiate collaborations, and sign contracts, continuously amplifying the "CAHE magnetic effect."

This setup created a comprehensive, one-stop platform for industry display and exchange, enabling efficient integration and precise alignment of full industrial chain resources.
Global Exchange, Shared ProsperityInternational pavilions from the United States, France, the Netherlands, and Northern Europe gathered once again in the International Zone, bringing globally advanced technologies such as smart farming equipment, precision feeding systems, digital ranch management solutions, and animal welfare standards. From international delegations to matchmaking sessions, and from tech displays to finalized collaborations, CAHE has evolved beyond a "showcase" of global livestock products into a "hub" for deep integration of international industrial, supply, and value chains.
Rural Revitalization, Common Prosperity A special zone titled "Consolidating Achievements in Poverty Alleviation and Rural Revitalization" was set up to display local characteristic livestock and poultry breeding achievements and exemplary rural revitalization cases, contributing to consolidating poverty alleviation outcomes and advancing rural revitalization.
Concurrently, the 2nd Bee Industry Development Conference (2026) and the "520 World Bee Day" event highlighted how small industries like beekeeping can drive significant rural revitalization by linking ecological protection, farmer income growth, and a "sweet economy." The conference focused on upgrading the bee industry and building brands through technical exchanges, supply-demand matchmaking, and public outreach.
