The following comments were received from participants and speakers:

The USSEC MENA Conference was a great event for over 60 soybean buyers representing 13 Arabic and European countries to gather valuable information to improve their business.

In addition to the education sessions and market outlooks, the learning experience continued outside the classroom with great networking opportunities.

INTL FCStone appreciated the honor to be a part of the MENA conference and looks forward to future cooperative events.

Matt Ammermann the Commodity Risk Manager- Vice President Eastern Europe/Black Sea Region at at INTL FCStone Financial comment was:

We had a great risk management seminar in Jordan- Dead Sea.  Topics covered included risk management with futures, options and OTC markets.  We also discussed current market trends and market strategies used to manage price risk.  The timing of such event and topics around the idea of risk management were very timely, given the markets impact from coronavirus as well as Saudi-Russian price war tensions from crude oil.  Price risk management remains a crucial part of MENA business actions in the soybean sector, the region has continued growth prospects thus the need to manage price risk remains essential.   USEEC team did a great job organizing and conducting the event, attendance and interaction was great, thank you USSEC!  I believe all found the event highly useful.

Jeffry Kuijpers, Executive Director, Agricultural Commodities, CME Group comment was:

Thanks for allowing me to represent CME Group at the recent USSEC event in the Kempinski Ishtar Dead Sea Hotel in Jordan. USSEC continues to set the standard when it comes to these events; bringing buyers not only from the wider Middle East but from Turkey and Russia as well. The facilities were excellent as always and the event was much appreciated by everyone I talked to; both speakers and delegates alike.
