EVA

The Emirates Veterinary Association was founded in 2016 as a Public Welfare Association in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The establishment of this association first derived by Dr Roula Shaaban the first Emirati female veterinarian whom graduated from Cairo University of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. The association consist of 7 board directors.

VISION:
That the Emirates Veterinary Association be one of the world’s leading bodies in interest in various fields of Veterinary Research, awareness and social medicine, providing national cadres to serve the profession and the country and representing the state in international forums.

EVAphoto1OBJECTIVES:
1.Identifying the veterinary profession and encouraging the Emirati students to study veterinary medicine.
2.Developing the scientific thinking in the different fields of veterinary medicine.
3.Offering scientific consultation in fields of specialization.
4.Contributing with the competent authorities in laying the foundations for managing the practice profession and the supporting professions.
5.Contributing towards providing medical and social services to the members of the Association and their families.
6.Assisting members morally in providing them with means of self protection to face claims filed against them before the law while performing their jobs.
7.Contributing towards assisting veterinarians and members of the Association in getting jobs in various bodies of the State.
