On September 1, I attended, alongside Dr. Mona Mohrez, representing the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, the conference of the Egyptian Poultry Association in coordination with the World Poultry Association. The conference was held at the Triumph Hotel in the Fifth Settlement in Cairo and was one of the most important scientific and organizational events witnessed in Egypt recently.
The SPACE 2024 exhibition took place from September 17 to 19 at the Parc-Expo Rennes, France. The 38th edition was a significant success, featuring 1,210 exhibitors, including 370 international participants from 37 countries, and attracting 101,757 visitors (+12% compared to 2023), among them 12,534 international visitors from 120 countries.

The Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority issued a decision regarding the collection of food and feed samples for inspection and monitoring purposes in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Director-General of the Authority directed the issuance of regulations for collecting food and feed samples and designating the specialized staff responsible for this task. This aims to regulate the procedures for collecting samples for monitoring and inspection purposes across the food and feed supply chain at all stages in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
At the Global Forum in Russia, the Kingdom showcased aquaculture opportunities during the event held in the Russian Federation from September 17 to 19, with the attendance of several government entities and private sector representatives. The Deputy Assistant for Livestock and Fisheries Resources at the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shaikhi, explained that the Kingdom's participation included the National Program for the Development of Livestock and Fisheries, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Agricultural Development Fund, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.
