Richard Weatherley, who joined Cobb Europe three years ago as broiler specialist, has been appointed production director for the region covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He has been working in the UK poultry industry since 1996 in a series of roles involving broiler and breeder production and animal feed, and has recently gained an MSc in applied poultry science from Glasgow University.

John Vincent, who has held the role for seven years, takes on the new position of quality assurance director for the region.

Since joining Cobb in 1983, he has worked in roles across the company in research and development, technical service, business development, production and hatcheries. This broad experience has given him sound knowledge of how these business teams work together to serve customers.

“The new role of quality assurance director provides an opportunity to significantly enhance support and service to our customer base as well as drive continuous improvement of our internal quality standards to meet the ever increasing demands of the poultry industry across the region,” he stated.
