• There is a type of chicken called the Chinese Silkie. This breed contains pigment cells that give the chicken's meat a dark color, and its internal organs may be blue or black. It is named for its beautiful feather colors and its soft texture, which gives it a delicate and attractive appearance. It is a favored breed because it hatches eggs easily.
