M.Forte (ICE Agency): "Cremona is the reference point for this type of event at an international level"
Cremona, 1 December '23- Second day of appointments for the international event that brings together the world of animal husbandry in Cremona on the occasion of which the situation for the sector is being taken stock, highlighting it and its shadows and proposing concrete solutions in dialogue with the institutions.
"These days in Cremona we are talking about the future of a strategic sector for our country's GDP, which, thanks to exports, makes us protagonists also at an international level," says Roberto Biloni, president of CremonaFiere. On this last aspect, the work with ICE Agency was fundamental, which for this edition involved delegations of operators from 20 countries, Asia, the United States, Canada, and all over Europe".
The 2023 edition of the Cremona International Livestock Shows has a total of over 300 international operators visiting the event from 20 countries, including Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Luxembourg, Morocco, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Hungary, Uzbekistan. ICE Agency, specifically, took care of the scouting and involvement of Official Delegations with over 80 operators from 12 countries. An institutional delegation representing the Uzbek State Committee of Veterinary and Livestock Development will also be present from Uzbekistan.
"We brought 300 buyers and operators from over twenty countries with the aim of giving more business opportunities to our entrepreneurs, our breeders and our producers," explains Maurizio Forte, Central Director of the Export Sectors of the ICE Agency. It is an important challenge, it is a challenge that we have made together with the trade associations and the Fair that together with us has selected these operators. But it is also a double challenge, because we want to raise the international profile of this fair and make it a leader in Europe and in the world. Because we must not only win as breeders, as producers, but we must also win as a trade fair system. We have similar fairs in other countries, but this one is taking the lead and this commitment serves to make Cremona the reference point for this type of event. So you win twice.
