As a producer of feed additives NUTRIAD does not consider itself just a part of the animal protein/feed industry, but as an important link in the food chain as well. Roxell, the leading manufacturer in automatic feeding, drinking, heating and ventilation systems for poultry , is introducing two new types of feed bins, specifically for EU countries. The new types of feed bins comply with European standard EN 1090 for the manufacture of metal structures. The new bins break down into two groups.

Recently, Impex opened a new factory near Frankfurt, Germany, where it makes drinking nipples for poultry industry. The ultra modern production facility in Aulenhausen replaced the Neher factory which burned down in April 2014. With an investment of more than 20 million euros, Impex has now one of the most modern and sustainable production plants in the world.
The Lebanon branch of the WPSA held its annual meeting on October 12, 2017, at the Lancaster Hotel in Hazmieh, a suburb of Beirut, the capital. The meeting was held at the beginning of a two day conference sponsored by the Branch in cooperation with Elanco.

A global leader in feed additives solutions for livestock and aquaculture, NUTRIAD has once more strengthened its commercial team in the USA by adding commercial talent to its organization. The latest Cobb Champion award for broiler performance has gone to Chicken Kingdom company, located in Lipetsk, Russia, and part of Cherkizovo Group. The awards were introduced last year to recognise annual world-class performance at breeder, broiler and hatchery level in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
U.S.-based POET, the largest biofuels producer in the world has signed a partnership agreement with U.S.-based Al Dahra ACX, a subsidiary of Al Dahra Holding and a leader in the animal feed business for the marketing and distribution of “Dakota Gold”, the premium DDGS product (a corn based feed ingredient) produced by POET.

- Al Barakah Distribution is officially a partner of Agricool Group in Oman.
- Agricool Group just installed and successfully tested a 6000 bph Slaughter House in Sudan.
- Agricool Group will exhibit during Agrena 2017 in Cairo, Egypt.
Neovia announced the launch of a new project, called the "Farm of the Future", in July 2016.

The 2016 APA convention (Asia Pacific Aquaculture) took place in Surabaya from 26th till 29th of April, and surely was the major aquaculture exhibition in South East Asia this year, attracting close to 5,000 participants. The massive presence of Indonesian aquaculturists, including farmers, governmental staff and researchers proved the importance of the aquaculture community in Indonesia. Indonesian aquaculture grew nearly 20% in the last 5 years in hectares in production and over 50% per year in volume produced over the last 10 years.
