The President of the Lebanese Poultry Syndicate, William Boutros, announced that “chicken supplies, as a national product, have remained continuously available in Lebanese markets since the beginning of the war, exceeding consumption needs.”
In a statement, Boutros confirmed that “prices of chicken and its products have not only remained stable, but have also recorded a noticeable decline during the war period in Lebanon.” He revealed that “the sector is capable of meeting all demand across different Lebanese regions, including areas that experienced shortages of certain food items.”
